Terrewah Farm is proudly accredited with Slow Food Australia.  Promoting GOOD, CLEAN & FAIR food production.

Terrewah Farm produces organically grown (non certified) fruit and vegetables as well as pastured eggs and lamb.  We also provide a platform for other local growers to sell their produce to those in The Valley who want fresh, chemical free food, locally grown and ethically raised.

Each week you can find a selection of available local produce on our online store. To order, simply click the "shop online" button above and complete an order.  Make sure you go all the way through the checkout process and that you receive a confirmation email.  Your box will be available for pickup at the Berry Farmer's Market on Thursday afternoon, or Friday morning in Kangaroo Valley town centre.  Your veggies can also be home delivered to your door (selected locations only).  An invoice will be emailed after your veggies have arrived and preferred payment is by eft.

Thank you for supporting the local food economy!

In order to secure our investment in the future of a robust local food system we have decided to offer a membership based produce scheme.  We are asking our customers to invest $45 per week (or more if you choose) that you can spend when and how you like on fresh produce from the Terrewah Farm online store, monthly Honest to Goodness dry goods purchases and local fresh meat deliveries.

How does a Terrewah Farm Membership work?
You invest $45 per week (or more if you chose) paid monthly via a direct debit arrangement into our nominated account.
Your balance accrues until you choose to spend it via the Terrewah Farm online shop, the H2G group portal or on local meat deliveries as they occur.  There is no minimum spend or necessity to purchase every week so you can go away on holidays or miss a week without losing a cent of your investment.  You still get to choose what you eat and when you buy, but if you would like a standing order of mixed fruit and vegetables delivered to your home without you having to think about it, that option is available too.

Each month I will send you a statement showing the details of your membership account.  If you've spent more than you've invested, we'll ask you to pay the balance in an easy once off payment by electronic transfer.  If you're in credit, your balance carries over till the next month.  If and when the garden is closed for a planned shutdown (so that we can take some family time) membership fees will not be charged for that period

We hope you will enjoy this new healthy eating habit and won't want to go back to the supermarket grind, but if, for any reason you want to cancel your membership, the balance of your investment will be returned to you in full.  There are no administration fees, no cancellation fees, no waiting periods, no hidden traps.  We are farmers not a bankers.  I will be in touch with you by email and will provide you with all the necessary financial documentation to begin the direct debit arrangement.

What do you get for your membership?
The best thing is you're giving small scale local producers  like us the opportunity to earn a living wage while providing fresh, quality local food, grown in a way that nourishes the land and builds resilience within our wonderful community.  Yay!  You will also get :

  1. 20% off the total bill when using the Terrewah Farm online store.
  2. Access to our once a month Honest to Goodness group buying portal for all your pantry needs at wholesale pricing.
  3. You'll be the first to know about local meat buying opportunities and will receive a discounted rate.
  4. Receive priority invites to all Terrewah Farm events and workshops and will be offered a member discount.
  5. Receive the regular Harvest Update Newsletter keeping you up to date with what's in season and what's happening in your local food system.
  6. You will be given the opportunity to influence what is grown at Terrewah Farm.  We take seriously the responsibility of growing the things you like to eat.
  7. You'll have the option of setting a default order so that if you forget to order before the weekly cut-off, your family will still enjoy a box of fresh local produce, home delivered without you having to do a thing.

I encourage you  to consider membership as a way of helping us to grow a sustainable food economy in Kangaroo Valley.  Without regular, committed financial members it is more difficult for us to continue doing what we love - growing clean, fresh, seasonal food that nourishes families and builds community resilience.

How do I become a member?
If you'd like to become a member, simply complete the form below. I'll get the appropriate paperwork to you in due course.  If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to be in touch.

If you'd like to check out the online shop go to
www.openfoodnetwork.org.au/terrewah-farm/shop.   Inventory disappears once it is sold, so the earlier you get your order in each week, the more chance of getting those items that are in high demand.  Mixed boxes will also contain produce that is not listed on the shop to ensure there is adequate variety each week.

Thanks again for your interest, if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Warm regards,

Kirsty Hambrook
